Let’s do life together

Lately, I’ve realized it’s not the big dramatic th Lately, I’ve realized it’s not the big dramatic things keeping me grounded…

It’s the weird little things.

Reality TV so ridiculous it melts my brain.
Music playing during basically every moment of my life.
Fancy coffee on random Tuesdays.
Oversized sweatshirts.
Quiet walks on cool mornings.
Candles. Cozy socks. Sitting fireside under the stars.

Tiny comforts.
Tiny rituals.
Tiny moments that somehow make life feel softer.

This week’s blog post is all about the weird little things saving my sanity right now… and honestly, writing it reminded me how much the small things really matter.

Because maybe healing doesn’t always look big and life-changing.
Maybe sometimes it looks like finally letting yourself enjoy the ordinary moments too. 🤍

New post on the blog:
“The Weird Little Things Saving My Sanity Right Now”

What’s one small thing helping you get through life lately?

Does anyone else feel like no matter how much you Does anyone else feel like no matter how much you do, it’s still never enough?

Because lately, I feel like I’m drowning in my own life.

The mental load. The unfinished lists. The pressure to keep up. The guilt when I rest. The feeling that I should be doing more.

I really thought this season of life would feel lighter.

Instead, I feel like my brain never fully shuts off.

And maybe I’m not the only one carrying invisible exhaustion while pretending everything is manageable.

My newest blog post is the most honest thing I’ve written in a long time, and I have a feeling a lot of you are going to relate to it.

Had to see what this chat GPT unhinged bio was all Had to see what this chat GPT unhinged bio was all about. Pretty spot on. What do you think?

Jen is what happens when a meticulously color-coded to-do list gains sentience, drinks too much iced coffee, and decides to romanticize her own chaos.

A 50+ plot twist in human form, she’s a mother of three grown humans who somehow survived her experimental phases of “we’re all going to reinvent ourselves this week” energy. Equal parts self-discovery guru and “where did I put my phone (it’s in my hand)” enthusiast, she operates on a delicate balance of ambition, autumn vibes, and sheer stubborn refusal to stay in her comfort zone.

She has ADHD with a VIP pass for OCD tendencies, which means her brain is both the CEO and the entire circus. Lists are her love language. Plans are her personality. Actually following the plans? That’s more of a freestyle jazz situation.

She will absolutely inspire you to chase your dreams, try something new, and become your best self—right after she trips over absolutely nothing, forgets why she walked into the room, and starts a completely different project halfway through.

Creator of Just Me Jenrie, she’s not lost—she just took the scenic route, added a few detours, maybe a snack stop, and turned it into a whole lifestyle brand. Terrifying? Yes. Worth it? Also yes. Under control? Not even a little.
Be honest… When was the last time you created som Be honest…

When was the last time you created something just because you wanted to?

Not because it was productive.
Not because it would make money.
Not because someone else needed it.

Just you.

Yeah… it’s been a minute, hasn’t it?

Somewhere along the way, we stopped doing things just because we loved them, and started doing everything because we should.

And that’s exactly why we feel so disconnected.

I wrote something about this… and it might be the reminder you didn’t know you needed.
